Sri Karneshwar Nataraja temple is located on the Karneshwar Beach at Pudukuppam, Tamil Nadu - 605014. It was inaugurated by Dr. Karan Singh, Chairman, Auroville Foundation. Karneshwar Beach is becoming popular among tourists because of its serene atmosphere. The temple has a Buddhist Vihara, a Seventh Day Adventist Church, and a Masjid not very far. Pudukuppam is a classic example of the most Secular State in India -- Tamil Nadu.
